Excessive delay in updating app

I avoid using Omnifocus on my iPhone 6 plus because it is such an eye sore. Unbelievable how long it has taken omnigroup to update

Good but slow

I really enjoy the usefulness and the design of the app. However, it is slow. Almost every time you open the app you see "optimizing database" even if you only have a dozen of plain text tasks.

Great app

I dont know why everyone is 3 staring this app. Honestly its the best gtd app Ive every used and I would pay 19.99 again in a second for the next version.

Poor product for the money

Considering the high cost, this app is of a fairly low quality. Polling reminders doesnt work in the background, the ios extension only allows you to set certain properties when creating an item from outside the app. The app is slow to start and when getting a push notification it doesnt even open to item you were pushed. Lack of push interactions and lastly the fact that search is hidden make this all a poor choice for your money.

Good but expensive

OmniGroups apps are all expensive. OmniFocus for the iPhone is finally pleasant to use. It has become a richer and more powerful app. Its worth it if you need the most solid built productivity tool available for iOS.

Best app got better

Most powerful app ever for iPhone, not just for GTD. There are various flexible ways of using OF2. Way much better than Calender, Notes OneNotes and Reminders in combine. Ps. Love the redesigned UI.

Powerful and effective

It has taken me a long time to get fully used to this app. It is powerful and comprehensive and I am still learning new ways to use it. But it has been part of my toolkit for years and has become indispensable to staying on top of my career.

Love it

I use this app every day, without it I would be lost, this is a great way to execute GTD.

Much more productive since I use omnifocus on iPhone 6 plus

Even though omnifocus 2 for iPhone doesnt yet have a dedicated review mode, I find myself doing my review on the iPhone during times idle time

Agree, sad business model.

I completely agree with the review of other users. I was charged a new app for a mere UI change. There are no significant improvements from the older version. I really like the application. Im using it and Ill will continue using it. Loyal users deserved more than this.

There are many task managers, but OmniFocus is the gold standard

I wouldn’t be able to manage without OmniFocus. On my iPhone, on my iPad, on my Mac — I’d be lost without it. It’s paid for itself many, many times over.

The best task manager on the AppStore

The best task manager on the AppStore.

Amazing

Omnigroup makes amazing software. Thanks for the updates

Indispensable

Powerful and flexible task management software.

Great Way to Stay Organized

Ive tried many to-do lists and have settled on OmniFocus. Keeps me on track and organized. Great that calendar appointments show on bottom of lists. Hesitated because of the cost but I can say - spend the money! No regrets!! Only wish they had a Windows version for my desktop and Surface Pro

Get things done with OmniFocus.

It is a good application if you have it on your Mac. Synching the two applications will help you stay more organised. If you plan to only have this on the iPhone, maybe it isnt for you. It does have loads of functions, but its more important to spend the time to get things done, rather than spending lots of time organising your to-dos; this depends on how well can you operate this application. Anyhow, I think the developers need to pay more attention to the design: the interface isnt very smooth and the tab Forecast is too close to the top of the screen.

Not bad,

but for $22. it needs to be awesome.

About 9 years since I started with OmniFocus

If you want a solid app to keep track of all the things you need and want to do in life, get OmniFocus. If you use a cheap app youll get cheap results. Having used OmniFocus for many years, Im strongly hoping that the OmniGroup have an even higher vision of what Omnifocus can become in the future than I can possibly imagine. Here are some items that would make Omnifocus reach higher limits. -Graphical perspectives(imagine looking at a graph where you can quickly see that you are already overcommitted and can not take on another project) -Multiple contexts/tags(Its now the 21st century) -Being able to see deferred tasks that you missed in the forecast view. -A way to use Siri to ask questions like: "What are my due items today?" Or "Siri, what is in my context called errands?" Perhaps this can only be done if Apple allowed the integration of Siri at this level. -Uploading emails to the Omnifocus inbox without having to forward it to an email first. This will unfortunately only be available when Apple allows email extensions. All the best to all of you. Fred Meunier

Smart and very useful App.

Omnifocus helps me to achieve my daily task and supports my projects in a smart manner. It is in a way designed that it offers a variety of options in a simple but very effective steucture. Best App to get things done out there.

Worth every penny

For years now, omnifocus has been reliable a mostly bug free. This app is solid and actually useful in the short and long run. Not a fad app like the rest. Get it!
