OmniFocus 2 (legacy support edition) App Reviews

v2.4 removed quite a lot of features (some perspectives), brought some damage to UI (forecast view) and introduced many bugs (sync, hanging, quirky UI) Ive restored prev version form iTunes and Im not planning to update. Its the most used app on my iPhone so Im not just the guy who wants to complain.

Рекомендую, стоит своих денег. The best productivity app! I used to wunderlist, todoist, todo cloud, any.do, reminders (ios), gneo, chaoscontrol, listbox. I have many tasks and so todo app is the most important app on my iphone. And omniFocus is the best. Really clear logic based on get things done. Clear ios-style design. Easy to read crisp fonts. But there is one big No – there is no app for iPad or web interface (site) and i dont have, as many russians, mac computer. So i haveto work just on one small display. Its upset me. And devs promise release app for ipad just when ios 8 will be released. Its awful. But anyway this is the best todo app.

iOS 8 "content sharing" feature not working (just nothing happens after you try to share content from any app)

OF 2 has been often crashing both on iPhone 5 iOS7 and iPhone 6 iOS 8.

The best task manager. Ive been using for 5 years. Add Review mode for iPhone 6 Plus or make iPad version compatible with iPhone 6 Plus. Thank you

After the last update that changed the design of the interface some problems with stability acquired. Crashes every 5 minutes, problems with viewing list of tasks on some dates and etc. Im using iphone 5 and the last ios.

Sync in background still doesnt work after last update. Sad...

Great GTD app, wonderful widget and amazing week view. Problems with multitasking, if you dont open the app, badge and tasks are not updated also with the app in background.

On one side its technically speaking perfect. On the other side the UI is still too complex and I get lost in the app even for easy reminders. You have to be very dedicated to use Omnifocus. Definitely 5 stars for project planning with given deadlines and involving teams. For anything else I would recommend to stick with the oem app. Or similar easier and lighter applications.

Update crashes asap, unable to open app. I just see badge icon with 9 things to do but no idea what... Great $20 app...

Sure you dont have monthly or annual fees but they will milk you out of every cent to ensure its more expensive than paying annually for other apps. Im not gonna upgrade to the universal app because who knows what other ways they will find to squeeze you out of more cash.

Watch out, this is a company that wants to milk its loyal customers. Ive had enough... moving on!

OmniFocus for IPhone is easily a best-in-class app for GTD. You can safely ignore complaints about pricing as the Omnigroup have always been upfront and most importantly fair in regards to app pricing. Need a $.99 list app? There are plenty of those, but none will hold a candle to what OmniFocus offers. Also...Ken Case is one hunky dude. #nextstep
